Zara x Barbie, Balmain x Beyoncé and more key fashion collaborations from 2023

Collaborations can be good business, attracting new customers with pop culture sensations and generating buzz (and sales) in the process.

In 2023, Fendi partnered with Marc Jacobs, Balmain partnered with Beyoncé, and Louis Vuitton worked with Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. But fashion collaborations are not a new idea. In 1937, Salvador Dalí collaborated with Schiaparelli, and his influence can again be seen as a source of inspiration for Daniel Roseberry’s spring 2024 collection.
